Handbook v10 acknowledges v9.0 as its predecessor. We carry forward the intent — applied critical thinking, cultural empathy, groupthink mitigation, and structured techniques — without presenting RedTeam output as Army doctrine.
What v10 kept from v9
Section titled “What v10 kept from v9”- Loyal opposition — challenge thinking to improve decisions, not to win arguments

- Structured techniques: premortems, ACH, assumption checks, frame audits, facilitation patterns
- Cultural empathy — cross-cultural communication, perception mapping, empathetic inquiry
- Emphasis on dissent, alternatives, and making implicit assumptions explicit
